ARE YOU READY FOR BASKETBALL ?
Our Spartan Youth Basketball season is ready to get started! The mission of this program is to provide a fun experience where sportsmanship and teamwork are emphasized. Some info for new players as well as returning players:
2nd & 3rd grade boys and girls meet Saturday mornings to learn the basics of playing basketball. After skills instruction, the players are split into teams to play games. Any parent or relative that would be willing to help out would greatly be appreciated.
4th, 5th, & 6th graders are placed unto boys and girls teams that will practice once a week starting in December with Saturday afternoon games running from January through March.
7th, 8th, & 9th grade boys are placed unto teams that will play games Saturday evenings. Open gyms and/or practice will depend on gym availability.
Spartan Youth Basketball is organized and staffed by volunteers who give of their time to help run a successful program. If you would like to volunteer your time in some capacity, please contact Steve Clark.
Please see our flyer for registration dates. If you would prefer to mail in your registration, please print and complete all appropriate paperwork and mail to Holly Kohl’s address on the registration form.
Evaluations will be held for 4th, 5th & 6th graders on November 11th. Please keep an eye on our web site for specific times and future information
